Meet Mike Davis
Mike grew up in Woodcliff Lake,
New Jersey. Mike knew he wanted
to be a golf professional by the age
of 12. He caddied at a local country
club at the age of 14. He attended
Pascack Hills High School in
Montvale, New Jersey where he was
all county his junior and senior
years. Mike played collegiate golf
at the University of Delaware,
where he won the East Coast
Conference individual and team
championship in his senior year at
Saucon Valley Country Club in
Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Mike
played in the 1989 PGA Tour Doral Open
Teaching Philosophy
Mike is extremely patient, and he
gears communication towards his
students’ wants, needs, and
personality. He prefers to keep
things simple, and he focuses on
process, golf fundamentals and
causes rather than results. Mike
has a unique approach and
explains things in a meaningful
way.
He solves people’s golf problems,
and teaches people to hit the ball
long and straight in the everyday
use of the words.
Mike has taught thousands of
golfers from beginners to other
golf professionals. He works
with men, ladies, seniors, juniors,
and people with disabilities.
